Classical Ballet

While non-compulsory ballet is deemed the foundation of majority of dance styles. WDC teach the Cecchetti method with classes available for all ages from 3 years to adult classes. 

Flamenco

At WDC, our specialty is to show our passion and love for the Spanish culture through Flamenco. We teach Alianza Flamenca and ensure all our students not only learn about the style of dance, but also feel and share the passion as this is what flamenco is. 

Jazz

Our teachers show students through dance how you can show a variety of expressions through this style of dance. From broadway, to the edginess jazz brings, students will gain a variety of jazz techniques and choreography.

Contemporary/Lyrical

This style of dance stems from ballet, and allows students to be more free whilst continuing to keep their technique precise. Through music which highlights strong feelings students are able to showcase their deep passion for dance through this style.

Stretch and Conditioning

In all dance genres, students must try and maintain a strong stretch and conditioning routine which gives them a broader range of dance styles they are then able to do with performing kicks, leaps and tricks within their dance classes.

Hip Hop

Students are able to loosen up and enjoy a class of different styles of hip hop from lyrical to old-school to gain knowledge of how versatile hip hop can be.

Acrobatics

Our teachers will show students technique for the foundations of AcroDance, including handstands, cartwheels and bridges. Students will also be given strong stretch and conditioning routine in order to perform AcroDance.
